Madera

  • Stormwater-proUpdate water system planning and design criteria.
  • Develop an EPS hydraulic model in Innovyze’s InfoSWMM and based on the most current GIS data.
  • Worked in conjunction with Hydmet, Inc to develop hydrologic models based on existing and future land use in a customized model working in HEC-1.
  • Evaluate the capacity of the storm drainage facilities to service existing users.
  • Perform storage capacity analysis for existing retention basins and recommend improvements.
  • Recommend improvements necessary to mitigate existing deficiencies and to service future growth.
  • Recommend improvements to reduce dependence on local irrigation canals for runoff disposal.
  • Develop a Capital Improvement Program with a short-term, intermediate-term and long-term phasing.
  • Perform cost sharing analysis for each recommended project between existing users and future developments.
  • Coordinate this plan with the 2013 recycled water system feasibility study, 2013 sewer system master plan, and 2013 water system master plan being completed concurrently by Akel Engineering Group.

  • Coordinate this plan with the 2013 wastewater collection system master plan being completed concurrently by Akel Engineering Group.
